I call him my Bonus Child because McCoy is not a buck I was expecting to bring in, but when his breeder offered him to me there was no way I was going to refuse him. Not only is he a flashy little man, but his genetics pack a serious punch, as well. He is out of a finished champion dam who has been a favorite of mine since I first saw her show two years ago. I also have his half sister, Peggy, who has already performed very well in shows - earning her Junior leg and two BJIS titles. McCoy's sire is Frog Flat TB Albatross - a son of CH Woest-Hoeve IE Egret who placed 6th place 5yr old at 2022's Nationals and *B Woest-Hoeve TS Thunderbird who received 2nd place Junior Get of Sire there, as well.

McCoy is certainly a gangly young buck currently, being May born, but he's already showing interest in does and I'm excited to see how his kids turn out.

Yearling, in Rut
